We could start our final checkout activities yesterday, on Sunday, even though it also was a holiday. The satellite preparation facilities were opened for us, and we were pleased to see that all satellites were still in good shape (didn’t expect anything else of course).
The BEESat and ITUpSAT-1 team performed final pre-flight checks and tests on their satellites. We charged the batteries of UWE-2 for the last time, while SwissCube is already ready for flight.
If no unforeseen events occur, final preparation of the satellites and their launch adapters will be done today, followed by integration to the launch vehicle tomorrow. The launch itself is currently reported as ‘most likely to occur on 23 September’, to which we look forward of course.
