Because no work could be done on Sunday and most of the team members enjoyed the local food and drinks on Saturday night, we got a late breakfast.
Albeit a day off, a bus with our dedicated driver Franklin had been arranged for Sunday to drive us around. Since the launch base is close to the Indian Ocean (and it’s pretty warm here), many felt the ‘urge’ to have a swim in it. After some unintentional sight-seeing we arrived at a village, through which we were guided to its harbor by a local fisherman.
There we entered one of the those typical shallow boats and arrived at the beach.
After enjoying the waves of the Indian Ocean and facing the wildlife in many ways, the roadtrip back to SHAR provided an opportunity for some to buy typical local sweets and spicy chips.
